About Me

Hastings based family photographer

Bonjour!
Nice to meet you.

I grew up in France and moved to London in 2015 where I worked as a nanny for over a decade; I loved everything about it. In 2015 I picked up a camera and started to study photography alongside my nannying work; the two fitted together seamlessly.

Witnessing the rawness and chaos of family life was a unique privilege, and as I became closer to and a part of each family, the desire to capture real life moments was born.

I have been documenting local families for the past two years and in 2025 I set-up Photos By The Sea to bring my services to a wider audience.

How I work

1. Relaxed and informal

The way I work is easy going; I always aim to keep it fun. I am interested in getting to know you and your children, partners, extended family and beloved pets! I love to hear family stories and understand the essence and dynamics of them. Ultimately how much love you all share with one another.

2. No staging or posing

I won’t stage a scene or ask you to wear a specific outfit, or even tidy up your house; mess can be beautiful! I want to capture fleeting moments as they happen. It can seem chaos at the time, but you will love looking at them in the future. They are the everyday moments that are regularly witness but often forgotten.

Family photos by the sea.. the park or at home!

I am based in Hastings and love to meet local families; but I offer photography services across East Sussex including: St Leonards, Bexhill, Cooden, Fairlight, Ore, Battle, Eastbourne, Pevensey, Westham.

I also undertake photography commissions in London and Brighton; please get in touch to find out more and discuss a family photography package.
